Getting Better Scan Results

  • Use bright, even light without harsh shadows.
  • Fill the frame with one plant or bug whenever possible.
  • Keep the camera steady and avoid blurry photos.
  • Scan leaves, flowers, patterns, or body details when they are visible.

Camera and Photo Permissions

Scanora needs camera access for live scans and photo library access for imports. If access was denied, open your device Settings, choose Scanora, and enable Camera or Photos.

Subscriptions and Restore Purchases

Scanora Pro subscriptions are managed by Apple. If you already purchased Pro, use Restore Purchases in the app Settings. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Identification Limits

Scanora provides best-effort plant and bug identification. Results can be wrong, especially with blurry photos, unusual angles, lookalike species, or non-nature objects. Use multiple sources when certainty matters.
